the days after KIHL

Welcome graphic

I am sorry to say as of June 9th I have resigned from Kenosha Ice and all duties associated with Kenosha ice, KIHL and the Kenosha Knights. There have been managerial issues that I could no longer endure. I have always poured my heart and soul in the rink and for the KIHL and none of it mattered to Oakie Brumm. I never imagined this to happen nor did I ever want to let any of you players down. I did the league for the love of the game and for all of you. This league was about all of you. Together we were forming it in to a league that we were striving to create, one about having fun and bringing back the desire to play the game. Kenosha Ice Hockey League is owned and operated by Kenosha Ice and will be continued by Oakie Brumm General Manager(262-939-8075 whnob@yahoo.co, kenice1@kenoshaice.com) and newly appointed Assistant Manager Steve Eisenhauer.(515-3406) All concerns should be addressed to them. (Rink owner Jim Jalovec JAJ investments 414-427-8200  P.O.Box 370170 Milwaukee Wi 53237-1270) Danny Radandt has been informed of us leaving and he will need to decide what he will still take on with league issues. They (the rink) have all schedules, referee and scorekeeper names and numbers and everything else to operate the league. I decided to leave immediately as we (Jeff and I) needed to make a clean break. Our Strength came from the desire of Kenosha Ice succeeding and having a long future, our desire for these things are still there, we just can not be a part of it as we had. I gave all I had into the rink and many of you noticed I never went home; a person can only take so much of their hard work not meaning anything. It breaks you. Things will go on they always do, just keep playing and make sure you have fun. I hope to see you playing and now can enjoy watching the games. At the very least I will see you all at Sully’s –
Thanks to all of you for the past 2 years
Lisa
